It is already the 8th year that April 10 is celebrated as “Builders’ Day” in our country. By the Order of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev dated December 16, 2009, today is considered the professional holiday of builders.
Azerbaijani construction and architecture have a rich and ancient history. There are dozens of buildings that are preserved as valuable architectural monuments from the past centuries to the present day, which include unique architectural samples of East and West.
Matanat A Company celebrated this significant day in a special way. A competition named “Power is in KNOWLEDGE” organized by the company was held among the students of the State University of Architecture and Construction. The purpose of the competition was to further increase the scientific and intellectual level of young builders, their knowledge of our architectural history. It is gratifying that our young people showed great interest in the competition, showing great activity.
