On 10 May 2010, Azerbaijani people celebrated the 87th Birthday Anniversary of a great Azerbaijani, eminent political figure, phenomenal person, one of the most influential politicians of our times and national leader of our people Heydar Aliyev.
On this occasion, Matanat A held a ceremony. Head of the company Elkhan Bashirov started his speech from information about the genius of our people and founder of modern Azerbaijan whose efforts and services to the nation and homeland were priceless. He emphasized that the most important events in social, economic and cultural life of modern Azerbaijan are definitely the fruits of Heydar Aliyev’s policy. Other participants of the event touched upon the mechanism of influence on the public at large and citizens inherent in the model of law-governed state and civil society created by great leader. It was also noted that successful maintenance of the national leader’s political course by our President Ilham Aliyev promoted further development and consolidation of independent Azerbaijan. Speakers emphasized that the great leader would be embalmed in people hearts forever with his wisdom, foresight and excellent managerial skills. At the end of the ceremony the company staff visited the grave of the national leader in the Alley of Honour.
