"Matanat A" celebrates the 88th anniversary of Heydar Aliyev’s birth

On 10 May 2011, Azerbaijani people both in the capital and regions of the republic and all over the world, celebrated the 88th Birthday Anniversary and paid the tribute to the memory of a great son of our nation, far-sighted politician, eminent political figure, phenomenal person and our national leader Heydar Aliyev. One of such commemorative events was held in Matanat A Company. In his opening speech, President of the company noted that the history of development of modern Azerbaijan is directly connected with Heydar Aliyev’s name and ideas. He brought to the attention of participants that formation of independent state of Azerbaijan as well as rapid dynamic development of all areas of its society, progress, modernization and a vast scale of construction and renovation works in all regions of the country is an apparent implementation of great leader’s ideas by every citizen of the republic. It was emphasized that illustrious and unforgettable deeds the great leader performed for Azerbaijan and the Azerbaijani would always remain memorable for his grateful nation. Head of the company also noted that the national leader’s ideas form the basis of the successful policy pursued by President Ilham Aliyev. The authority and ascendancy gained by Azerbaijan in the region and world owing to Heydar Aliyev’s efforts prove again that he was irreplaceable and unforgettable leader indeed.<./p>

Delivering their speeches, other participants also spoke of great services performed by Heydar Aliyev for the nation, people and society and his successful political course. It was emphasized that Heydar Aliyev’s ideas being a source of today’s economic achievements and unprecedented progress in the field of protection and development of national and cultural values serve as a guarantee for further consolidation and great future of Azerbaijan.

At the end of the ceremony staff of the company visited the memorial complex of the national leader and laid flowers on his grave.
